You can also represent this as a bar graph where the scores are the x axis labels and the frequency is the y axis.

Definitions

Frequency :drill: A [frequency] is [the number of times a score occurs in a set of data]. It is represented by the symbol [f].

Histogram :drill: A histogram is like a bar chart but [the adjacent bars touch].

Frequency Polygon :drill:

A frequency polygon is a [histogram-like line chart with a dot for each entry]. Its used when there is too much data for a histogram. These dots are called [data points||don’t over think it].

Grouped distribution :drill: Its a technique for making a histogram managable for larger data sets. To do it, you [group numbers and record the occurence for the group, like “the 0-4 group”].

Relative frequency :drill: The proportion of time a score occurs in a distribution. The formula is [$\frac{f}{N}$].
