So this is a way to figure out the valid combinations / permutations of a set. statistics

Sometimes also “n choose r” or nCr.

The formula:

$$\begin{array}{r}C(n,r)=\frac{n!}{(r!(n-r)!)}\end{array}$$

The probability of exactly k successes is binomial distribution or binomial probability.
